Lieutenant Jacquelyn Hood
Lieutenant Jacquelyn Hood graduated from Framingham State College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then moved to the Atlanta area to pursue her dream of becoming a police officer. After putting herself through basic mandate class in 1996, Lt. Jacquelyn Hood was hired by the City of Duluth Police Department.
Since joining the police department, Lt. Hood has worked in almost every area available including dispatch, administration, community policing, criminal investigations and uniform. Currently, she is serving as the Assistant Uniform Division Commander, and enjoys working a split shift.
